Exploring Inks (Mondays for 3 Weeks)

Inks are a versatile, highly pigmented painting medium and in this 3-day course we will be exploring its versatility and application. Using Acrylic ink we will look at how we can create, loose expressive paintings and learn to embrace happy accidents that occur along the way.

Working exclusively on paper this course is suitable for those who have never used this often underestimated medium before to more experienced artists seeking a new direction in their work.

I will also be demonstrating the use of Alcohol inks as well as the subtractive technique of bleach and ink for those who are interested in these other formulations.
