Arts Education: I attended Harrow Art School in 1980 and completed a Foundation Art Diploma. I then trained in Graphic Design and Illustration in a large graphics studio in Soho London, before setting up as a freelance designer/illustrator. Later in life I studied watercolour with Jane Anderson Wood in Surrey, a well established watercolourist.
The Brownstone Gallery in Modbury and Ciderpress Gallery in Dartington represent me. And I’m just stepping down from doing the communications for South Hams Arts Forum (SHAF)
My preferred medium is Watercolour.
In 2025 I sold four paintings after exhibiting in the SHAF summer exhibition held at Thurlestone Parish Hall.
I think watercolour is a medium that requires some technical know-how, so having received a lot of tuition myself, I’m happy to share and pass on what knowledge I can.
