Sue Kellam

I first came to Salcombe in the 1960’s to work at the Island Cruising Club. I then went on to Dartington College Of Arts near Totnes where my interest in the arts increased and, years later, I enrolled in an arts access course there. This lead me to complete a fine arts degree in 1993 and I have continued to draw and paint regularly ever since.

All my work is to do with my appreciation and intuitive response to my garden and the natural world around me in south Devon.

I enjoy using a variety of marks in relationship with what is inspiring me. I am always hoping to completely immerse myself in the activity of looking, feeling, drawing and painting so that I forget myself in the process.
