Janette Jagger

I was born in the Australian desert and the earthy colours, hot summers and the cloudless blue skies have left their mark on my paintings. The sun is always shinning in my paintings.

I have travelled a lot, painting in various countries. I have lived in the UK for many years and the ancient rural scenes of little villages, fields, stone bridges, bluebells, spring blossoms etc still delight me.

Living near the sea is my ideal location. The cliff walks, the beach scenes with BBQs, making sandcastles, sun bathing, playing beach cricket and generally children running about enjoying their beach holidays, are the scenes I love to paint.

I am a member of the ABNA (Association of British Naive Artists).
