Diana Miller

I trained as a landscape architect, am smitten by plants and flowers and love painting them, particularly in still life and interiors.

I began painting with a passion for watercolour but now choose the robust nature of oils.
Early 20th century painting is a favourite period; the work of the Scottish Colourists, Anne Redpath, The Bloomsbury Group, Matisse and Dufy captivate me.

I gained an MA in Landscape Architecture from Sheffield University and a BSc in horticulture from London University.

I taught painting and drawing in adult education for ten years from 1991, for the WEA and Devon County Council.

I have exhibited with:

Royal Society of Painters in Watercolour. Mall Galleries, London .
Royal Watercolour Society. Bankside Gallery, London.
Theatre Royal, Plymouth.
Green College, Oxford.
Harbour House, Kingsbridge.
9-Days-of-Art Open Studios.
