Sandy Gilbert

I have been a member of Salcombe Art Club for several years. We are fortunate to have an inviting spread of courses available to us each year. It gives one the chance to receive guidance with one’s work and to try new techniques.

This year I have learned how to use oils with Ian Carr and also Wendy Elia. I have been hesitant to try working in this medium, being used to acrylic, but have enjoyed using them and found it to be well worth the outlay.

Both tutors have taught with energy and enthusiasm and have given me the confidence to continue alone.
