Hazel Hawkins
I Have lived in the South Hams for 40 yrs, where my work is inspired by the countryside, sea, people and animals.
Drawing close observation of rural life and weather across the region shapes my inspiration. Whilst I enjoy all painting mediums and love experimenting, I work primarily in pen and ink capturing snapshots of everyday life, recently exploring new ideas using organic materials creating monochrome prints.
Working with Pressgang Printmakers in the Loft Studio, I transfer my pen and ink studies into print.
