My practice is rooted in a deep connection to the coastal landscape, where my painting responds to atmosphere, memory, and emotional experience.
Moving between observation and imagination, the work creates reflective spaces where external environments merge with internal states.
Using materials such as turpentine, marble dust, ash and wax, I build and disrupt the surface through a process of erosion and discovery. Layers are opened, reworked, and enriched through glazing to create depth and a tactile presence. Ultimately, my work reflects the fragility, intensity, and environmental vulnerability of the natural world.
