Dilyana Imandieva

Dilyana Imandieva is a dedicated and resilient artist and art teacher with over two decades of experience in education. Having obtained her Master’s degree in Art Pedagogy from Sofia University Kliment Ohridski in 2002, she further enriched her qualifications with a Bachelor’s degree in applied linguistics, specialising in English and French, from Sofia University in 2004. Dilyana’s teaching career spans various roles, emphasising her commitment to fostering artistic growth and academic excellence among
her students.

In recent years, she has contributed her expertise to schools such as Holbeton Primary School and Kingsbridge Community Primary School, where she has effectively taught across key stages. Dilyana has also held positions at Tavistock College and Dartington Park School, demonstrating a versatile approach to education.

An artist in her own right, Dilyana is recognised for her unique art style, which incorporates elements of impressionism and contemporary techniques, capturing the beauty of nature and the human experience. Her works, showcased under the handle @artbydilyana, reflect a passion for the vibrant interplay of colour and texture.

Beyond her teaching roles, Dilyana has organised solo exhibitions, including the “Seas & Sees” exhibition at Harbour House in March 2022 and subsequent exhibitions at Thurlestone Hotel in September 2022 and 2023. With her positive demeanour and calm professionalism, Dilyana
Imandieva remains committed to nurturing creativity and inspiring her students in their artistic pursuits.
