Printmaker

I have been a member of Salcombe Art Club for many years and more recently a member of Pressgang, a group of printmakers who meet here at the Loft Studio on Wednesdays. We are very fortunate to have the use of excellent presses and facilities, we share our ideas and expertise and hold exhibitions of our work.

Surounded by our beautiful countryside and coastline I’m never short of inspiration for my designs, which I carve and print in my workshop in Slapton.

I work mainly with linocut and woodblock printing (with occasional forays into collograph, monoprint and drypoint) because I love carving lino – it’s totally absorbing, full of challenges and the results can be unpredictable!
