Alison Hannah

Alison paints, creates pots, runs workshops and delivers experiences from the riverside setting of The Clay Yard at Steamer Quay. Through her practice as a maker and artist she has developed an understanding of and respect for the materials and chemistry that make up her work.

Alison creates thrown domestic-ware on the potters’ wheel.   Her current work features her spin on the “folkart” and heritage pieces of the Southwest and includes vessels that have a link to the everyday use of these in our past.
