PIERO DELLA FRANCESCA (1415-1492)

In his lifetime he was better known as a Mathematician more than Artist. He painted fewer than 30 paintings, sometimes taking over 10 years to finish, but the meaning of some is still argued over by Art Historians. Although his landscapes are bathed in clear Tuscan morning light, they are still mysterious and underpinned by geometry. This makes them remarkable, intriguing and unique.

DAVID KIRK

Born in 1960, David was brought up in rural Somerset and went on to study at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art (1980-83) graduating with a degree in Fine Art. David is a professional painter in his own right (look him up!) and has for many years been Head of History of Art at Uppingham school. His own work has been exhibited at RONA gallery, St James Gallery, Flying Colours and Langham Galleries. He is now represented by the Goldmark Gallery.
