Gestural Life Drawing 2 (Workshop)

The second of two workshops, both using an immediate visceral approach to life drawing. By trusting the hand and eye coordination to look, draw and work fast with complete concentration, fresh dynamic gestural drawings appear. The freeing up of line and brush create drawings full of energy and life as you capture the essence of the pose.

The session will compose of mostly shorter poses going into longer ones, in the afternoon where you can use any materials you please or move around the room.

This week we will use hands, water, feather, compressed charcoal and red conte.
