Expressive Watercolours (Three Thursdays)

This course is about enjoying a freedom of expression with this versatile, subtle and beautiful medium with structure and fluidity.
Tonal values, colour-mixing and mark making with the brush and coloured pencils will add life and movement to subtle or vibrant colour.

Structure, composition and drawing will be an integral part of creating your work. Working with pools of colour on a palette allows response and control with brush ready to dip into. Other techniques of scoring spraying n masking stencil to create layers give depth- be it abstract, landscapes or still life.
