Beginners Water Mixable Oils (Mondays for 3 Weeks)

Water mixable oils are real oil paints offering the blending time of traditional oils with the easy clean-up of water. Being water mixable [not water-based], they can be applied using the same techniques as traditional oils and mixed with low-odour mediums that are also water-mixable.

The course will cover materials, beginner basics, underpainting, fat over lean, wet-in-wet, impasto and palette knife techniques.

Suitable for those who have never used oil paints before and wish to explore this user-friendly medium.

Please note that, although we will be using the landscape as our reference, the focus of the 3 days will be technique and there may not be time to complete a finished painting.
