SUMMARY:Summer Exhibition 2026
DESCRIPTION:From 23rd May to 26th September 2026 the Loft Studio will be transformed from a working studio running art classes and workshops into an art gallery displaying a wide range of artwork for sale including paintings in oil\, acrylic\, watercolour and also a variety of printmaking and 3D work. \nDuring the exhibition the Loft Studio is open from 11am to 5pm daily. DESCRIPTION:These courses are popular with people of all levels. Oil painting is a forgiving medium and ideal for anyone who has limited experience of paint; it builds confidence and invites experimentation. Ian is a very experienced Salcombe based artist who loves teaching and sharing his enthusiasm. His courses are suitable for the experienced and also beginners. SUMMARY:Printmaking (Wednesdays for Ten Weeks)
DESCRIPTION:A self-directed\, untutored\, and collaborative printmaking day\, suitable for those with some experience of printmaking. Our members use a variety of techniques such as linocuts\, collagraphs\, drypoint\, tetrapak\, gelli plate\, woodcut printing and aluminium etching. These sessions will provide the perfect space to work together sharing ideas and exploring these methods further.
